Moving Data to Another Device #

Currently, CraftShowTracker stores all data directly on the device where the app is installed.

This means your data does not automatically sync between devices.

Important Note #

When restoring data onto another device, the existing data on that device may be overwritten.

Always make a backup before performing a data transfer.

Steps to Move Data to Another Device #

Step 1 – Create a Backup #

From the original device, create a backup of your CraftShowTracker data.

Save the backup file to a safe location such as:

• Cloud storage
• Email attachment
• External drive

Step 2 – Install CraftShowTracker on the New Device #

Install the CraftShowTracker app on the new device.

Step 3 – Transfer the Backup File #

Move the backup file to the new device using your preferred method.

Step 4 – Restore the Backup #

Use the restore option within CraftShowTracker to import the backup file.

Warning About Overwriting Data #

Restoring a backup will replace the current data stored in the app on that device.

If the device already contains data, that data may be permanently replaced.

Always create a backup before restoring data.
